Leather Protection

Ceramicare Leather Protection can effectively protect nearly all types of leather from water, dirt and stain formation thanks to state-of-the-art high-performance particles! Appearance, color or feel will thereby not be reduced in any way. Leather Protection creates a dirt, water and rain-repellent protective film on the leather. The high-performance particles are stable and work for up to 24 months! 

Areas of application: Covered smooth leather, Semi-aniline leather, Open-pore smooth leather, Suede leather, PU-leather and split leather.

Preparation:
The leather must be thoroughly cleaned before sealing to remove all care and impregnating agents. Use Leather Cleaner for that. After cleaning, the leather must fully dry again.

Application:
Always spray the product evenly onto the surface and slowly work in using a sponge.  You can optionally run the product into the leather structure and leave to dry afterwards. Temporary darkening may occur always according to coating thickness. 

Curing time:
The product is fully effective after complete air curing. Curing can also be carried out using a fan heater if the leather is suitable for it. Thermal curing increases the effectiveness. 

Lifetime:
The lifetime is 12 – 24 months, always according to the substrate and surface stress. 

Consumption: 20 to 40 ml per m². 

Weatherproof after: 4 to 5 hours at +20°C (always according
to the type of leather). 

Fully cured after: 12 hours. 

pH resistance: 9.8.
